So somewhere I got the idea of turning old, well-loved T-shirts into a quilt. But sewing isn't really one of my talents. So I dragged all of our old T-shirts to Idaho for the Fourth of July weekend, and Mom helped me plan and execute the T-shirt blanket project. I cut and pinned. She sewed. And I am very pleased with the results. Thanks, Mom!
Here's the current state. There was a shirt or two that didn't make it to Idaho, so we're planning on an additional row.

So cute! I love it! And I'm ridiculously impressed with your craftiness. It makes me happy to see some of those old shirts that I remember Dan wearing...pretty much forever...
P.S. Lisa, you went to Girls State? Awesome! Me too. Let's be friends.
What a great idea! I love it.
Great pictures!
And way to be all crafty!
Hey! I recognize some of those shirts! Good for you for recycling them (and retiring them:)
